Los Angeles County says Marina del Rey public Parking Lot 4 has been closed for construction since December 1, 2025, while a new parking structure is developed. The county project page lists December 2026 as the anticipated completion of the construction phase, with dates subject to change because of permits and construction conditions.

The project responds to waterfront parking demand from residents, boaters and visitors attending activities around the harbor. A closed lot can shift drivers to other facilities and increase the need to plan for walking time between a parking space and the destination.

Drivers should use the county’s alternative Marina del Rey parking map before traveling and should check for current rates, hours and restrictions. The published construction schedule is a projection, not a guarantee that the garage is open on a particular day.
